Adam Elegant is probably one of the few people who truly enjoyed the job search. Navigating it reasonably well, he secured offers and worked for over 25 years at Goldman Sachs, KKR and Baker Street Advisors. He survived 24 interviews at Goldman (spread over 6 months), 30 interviews (spread over 25 months) at KKR and 10 interviews at Baker Street (boutique independent investment advisory firm/ multi-family office where Adam is a Partner today).
For the past 15 years, Adam has presented "Navigating the Job Search" to undergraduate and graduate students at various schools around the country. He has weaved together an interactive collection of real-life interview questions, stories, advice, quotes, coaching and friendly role plays that help students prepare and increase their comfort level. Adam's presentation reinforces what it takes to successfully navigate the job search and students leave the session with confidence, knowledge and a plan for a positive outcome.
